We’re looking for a volunteer to take on oversight of the Guild’s presence at yarn shows. This will involve:
- acting as the channel of communication between show organisers and the Guild;
- identifying and communicating with the team of local volunteers who will staff the stall at a particular show, and supporting them in planning any associated activities;
- occasionally attending a show in person;
- maintaining contact with the Board to ensure that, for example, any costs involved in exhibiting have Board approval.
You will need to have good organisational skills, and to have some experience of yarn shows either as a volunteer or as a visitor. Please contact our Chair using the contact form to find out more.
